Japanese Launch of iPod Touch Greeted Warmly

MacNN reports that the first store to sell the iPod Touch in Japan yielded roughly 100 people standing in a line outside the doors waiting to get their gadget fix. The first person there was, is a man that arrived at 1:30 AM local time, waiting until 10AM to finally get in and buy one.
If this is any evidence of the Apple iPod Touch’s popularity, it’s quite possible it could sell out in both Japan and China, which are countries where a gadget has to be special to guarantee similar hype.

Thanks: MacNN
